First, I'm a college student, and I expect my backpack to keep up with me, and to hold all the stuff I need it to, and to do it's share of the lifting for groceries. The padding is robust, in fact, better than my older much more expensive computer backpack and the adjustments are fairly good. This thing has MORE compartments than advertised, and is shockingly spacious. Seems to be standing the test of my college life without any difficulty. I loaded it up with about 40 pounds of groceries last night an carried it half a mile without any problem. Material seems pretty good.
I loved this backpack. Although I only had to use the charging port sparingly, I'm sure glad I had it set up when I needed it! This backpack is best for 15.6" or smaller laptops, my 17" laptop can fit in there, but it's a bit of a struggle to zip it closed. The many pockets are great, and the keychain clip is also good for storing your keys if you're the kind of person who is diligent about that.
I purchased this to help me carry my workload. I am a community manager for two active adult communities and have to carry not only a Surface laptop with me, but needed to be able to separate the files for each community. This as done a super job for me! The back section holds the computer, and all the files for the community I use it for. The next forward hold another community's files. The front section holds my business cards, pens, planner, and keys. The small front zipper area carries a pouch with flash drives. The hidden zipper front holds some personal paperwork. I don't really use the back area but have used it once for carrying some cash as it is hidden and would be up against me as well. It looks professional, the padded shoulder straps are a blessing! This was a great purchase -, especially for the price. I am considering buying another just to have on hand!
We bought these for a trip to Europe, and we are still on the plane with our backpacks.The design allows for smaller pockets to expand even when they look thin. Husband will use his on business trips with two computers etc as it looks professional. My camouflage is more artistic than military looking. We researched many brands and bought these just in time for our trip and are quite pleased. Very sturdy but sort for comfort. I love the USB charger. Instead of me having to take out my external battery or tuck my phone in my backpack, I can charge my phone while it's in my pocket. This was especially helpful when trying to look up directions and information while visiting a different country.
