I had no problem fitting everything in it that I needed for a 14hr flight (large headphones, laptop, hygiene supplies, kindle, extra clothes, etc.). Packing it full can make it heavy and large. For commuting, I don't carry much aside from the laptop & headphones, and it's light and compact then.
It seems pretty durable (I've only had it a couple months, but it feels and looks nice). I use it for commuting to work, and took it as a carry-on for an international trip. I like that the laptop compartment is mostly by itself in the back (slim, feels protected), and most of the space is in the middle/front compartment.
